Active Learning Environments
We believe children learn more when they are engaged in learning through hands-on and small group work. Teachers vary grouping styles throughout the day focusing on whole group, small group and individualized learning where student–teacher interaction is furthered.
Academic Learning Standards
Trinity faculty implement Concordia standards which integrate a combination of standards from national, professional, and state organizations that were created for American Lutheran schools. Concordia standards are well researched and provide the foundation for Trinity to meet or exceed state and national standards while leading students to grow in their faith and relationship with Christ. Concordia standards and curriculum resources ensure Trinity offers a strong, Gospel-centered, biblical message in every subject area.
Trinity Lutheran School: Called to “Higher Standards”
While the Christian foundation of TLS remains strong and unchanging, we strive to meet or exceed national standards for learning in dynamic ways. We believe in implementing the best educational practices to engage students and promote the highest academic learning. At TLS, teachers combine Christian joy and academic rigor to make school both fun and challenging.
